American Lighthouses: A Definitive Guide book

Back in the 1980’s, the Society’s president, James Hyland, met with the publisher of The Globe Pequot Press to discuss the need for a guide to America’s lighthouses.  The result was the publication of a series of regional lighthouse books by writer, Ray Jones, and photographer, Bruce Roberts, which eventually led to this compilation of their work on America’s lighthouses.  This is the best overall travel resource on American lighthouses, and we recommend it highly.  The cost is $29.00, which includes shipping and handling.

“American Spirit” CD soundtrack

You’ll be swept away by this beautiful nautical CD soundtrack.  We often play it for inspiring background music when we serve our romantic lighthouse dinners in Newburyport, which is appropriate because this album is dedicated to saving America’s lighthouses, and raises funds for their preservation.  The music sounds like a major motion picture score, mixing patriotic rhythms and inspiring majestic melodies with the sounds of fog horns, boats, bell buoys, seagulls, and waves.  If you like the idea of an orchestral score mixed with the sounds of the sea, we guarantee you’ll love this album.  This fundraising CD for lighthouses has a sales price of $25.00, which includes shipping and handling.
